ax has got to be the most spoiled-rotten cat in Virginia! He has always been around puppies and adult dogs, and can’t seem to decide whether he is a human or a dog! He has his own cat door so he can come and go at his whim, but rings the bells on the door handle so we will have to get up and let him out.

hen we have a litter, and the pups get old enough to start running around, Max comes around to play with them. The whole litter piles on top of Max and they all end up looking like a mass of wiggling fur with a long striped cat tail sticking out of it. We can hear Max meowing from deep under the pile of puppies and wagging tails, and we laugh until we can’t catch our breath!
